Super Session - Saturday 23rd April

That's right, it's event time.

On the first weekend of the easter break, I'm going to be hitting the arcades of queen street with as many people from here and everywhere as possible.

First off, it'll be super session at TimeZone. Starting at 10 (or whenever you get there) and going till 12, we'll be playing the living daylights out of the machines under BK.

Again if you're not sure how it works - You pay $10 for a card, which gets unlimited swipes on certain games. You can swipe it every two minutes, and generally you'll end up with far more credit than you need.

If there's enough people, we can split the cost of another card. If 5 people turn up that's $2 each for a share in 2 hours of unlimited credits. If 10 turn up we'll get two cards and so on.
Of course people are welcome to buy their own cards too, if they want.

After this, we can either break for lunch, or hit the next lot of arcades. Whatever we're up for at this point.
The other arcades are Timeout in the Imax, and Yifans, and both are on queen street.

Last time we did this it turned into quite the success, so do get involved. No matter how suck you are at games, come along, have a laugh, and watch the other people who are going to be just as terrible.



tl;dr 23rd april, we get together and play the shit out of the queen street arcades from 10ish in the morning till whenever.

If I don't have to work on Saturday morning then I'm keen :-)

Cool. Although I'm not the smartest person in the world when it comes to time. 10 till 12 doesn't equal 4 hours XD

Just as an updated, I now need to confirm that double dollars which is also happening won't take over for the super session.
I'll do that tomorrow if I can get down there.
Still, double dollars is cool. Just not quite as cheap as a super session. But the bonus is the credit lasts forever (a year)

Ok checked with the guy there today, apparently we're still good to go.

Sorry, won't be able to make it Saturday, thought I was gonna but turns out that my boss forgot to put my hours up for Sat >_<

why don't you make an event on your groups page and post a link? Isn't that what its for?

Well considering I've only got a few members at the moment (like, 7) it would be more visible posted on the anime clubs page. I can put one up and post it on our FB page but it still won't be quite as visible, I don't think.

I've already let DDR regs know about it anyway, I've got a few of them keen on coming.
