introducing...Edison

Hi all...

I'm currently a 2nd year finance/management student at AUT. I wouldn't say that i'm hardout into Anime but i've been (accidentally) watching it since i was really young...

i used to go to the video shops with my cousin and my uncle (god bless his ignorance) didn't really notice the R16/R18 warnings on the videos my cuz and i used to hire....it's not like we were doing it to be rebels or anything...it was just that the anime covers were so much cooler than the care bears (or dare i say..) transformers covers..

i watched stuff like;
wicked city
urotsukidoji
(the old school) ninja scroll
and whatever i could lay my hands on in mid 1990's sydney.

these days i watch whatevers catches my eye so i wouldn't say i'm into a certain type of genre or theme...but i have been leaning towards the darker themes related to anime eg: there is an anime version of "ichi the killer"...mediocre quality animation but man it's twisted.

Other interests of mine include Airsoft (imagine counterstrike with high powered air rifles in the forest), reading (fantasy mainly but i have an open mind) and pushing the limit...what limits you ask?
any.all.

if you're ever around the anime cafe i'm the guy reading initial d/berserk all the time or trying to ask people if they have a cracked psp for trades.

Welcome...and can't help but point out that Transformers was an anime anyway...

Transformers is a cartoon i believe. Its American made/drawn, but based on Japanese toys or something isnt it?

Ichi the Killer? isnt that a movie as well?

transformers is a anime, and there are also american versions, not that it really matters, lol



the new transformers cartoon is like made in america and its so americainised

either way i've never watched any version of transformers and i swear i will never watch the english dubbed anything because it makes my ears bleed

I meant the old school transformers cartoon, where Megatron turned into a gun, and Bumblebee was still a VW etc
