harlo my name is Kitt. i'm studyin 2nd year dip IT in aut. i join this club last year but i was kinda inactive but i plan to change that.

i'm no hardout anime/manga watcher/reader but i do enjoy them. i've read:

dragonball (who hasnt?)
naruto (up to end of 'season 1')
bleach (outdated. got to catch up)
slam dunk (finished and enjoyed it very much)
initial D (finished and enjoyed it very much)
death note (watched it but missin the last 2 episodes, if someone could supply me with it..... )
hajime no ippo aka the fighting aka fighting spirit (current)

other interest are gymmin, sports, gamin! (cs:s/cs1.6 & dota).

I have the full Death Note series if you want the remaining episodes. (as well as the one from Ryuks point of view/Directors Cut). I got the Live Actions as well and should be getting L: The Last Stand soon as well, if you are interested.

I am currently watching Hajime no ippo myself, up to episode like 52 or something at the moment (Ippo is fighting Date for the title) and i must say, its totally awesome. Didnt expect something so good to be honest. (My expectations were fairly low going into it though)

i'm readin the manga for hajime no ippo n i'm up to where he just won against vorg.. will watch it after i'm done with the manga

Oh okay, i havent read the manga for it, but i am slightly ahead of you then. I only got a few more episodes to go. (His match with Vorg and Sendo were great, but his next fight is in a league of its own)

I have finished watching the anime recently, and I dont want to spoil things for you, but i just want to say, Ippo's next to major fights are just simply great. They were quite intense, and the new move he learns

I am not sure about how the experience is for you reading the manga, but in the anime, they do have some great tunes to pump you up along with Ippo during the fight

Yeah, i am not a fan of Operation Turtle either but seeing he is an in-fighter, he doesnt have much other choice i suppose. (But even still, he does seem to take an extraordinary amount of damage, usually looks worse than his opponents after a fight )

(I think the manga continues further on from the anime)

yea jsut reachec chapter 200.. it was pretty dam intense, the fight with Date. current at the part where Vorg is going against Sendou. only 600 chapters left to catch up

I really thought Ippo was going to win, considering he had one basically all his fights till then and Date was retiring from that weight division. Boy was i in for a surprise Still one of my favorite fights though. (Oh, Takamura has a really interesting fight coming up soon as well)

Yeah, the anime doesnt go nearly that long at all There are only like 1 major fights left after the titleholder is decided by the Vorg vs Sendo match (and they cover 2 more fights in the Hajime no Ippo Movies)

I cant imagine reading 600 more chapters I am having a hard enough time trying to start reading D.Gray-Man, and thats only 163 chapters so far (Not cause i dont like it, i am more of an Anime fan than i am a Manga fan for the most part i guess)
